Whatever happened to seasonal influenza? Has the sickness been miraculously cured? What variant after Delta? Are we going to go down the whole Greek alphabet with new “variants” of Covid. If you can’t see what the ruling party is trying to accomplish here, then you will surely be eaten by the crocodile.

You read it here first.

The Official Government Workers Party will keep the pandemic going until the mid-terms, using the variants as an excuse to re-impose lock-downs and mask mandates etc.

Freddie will keep signing continuing Executive Orders.

Watch Illinois HB 2789, shelved until November. In it the Department of Public Health will be given the powers to shut down PRIVATE schools in a future pandemic.

See the end game here for Freddie, and his unions?

Wake up Illinois.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
