I understand one of the groups involved was coming from a late evening Novena at Holy Name Cathedral. Maybe city hall could benefit from passing some anti-Catholic Ordinances.

Matt–my wife & I listened to this ‘truth’ podcast while 1100 miles away from the city. Is this distance a causation related to the city crime? Indirectly–summer would usually have me watching or as a player in various music fests, but not this year. The further away, the better. For years, I was a seasonal performer at Navy Pier’s Miller Lite Stage, at least once a summer on the weekends. Can’t even go downtown now for dinner without being in fear of the crime. This is the “tax base” exiting ! Thanks again for your boundless energy in reporting the corruption ! You both were instrumental in defeating the graduated income tax and always reporting on… Read more »

A statewide concern: Illinois’ population decline outpaces neighboring states – Wirepoints on ABC20 Champaign

“We are not in good shape” Wirepoints’ Ted Dabrowski told ABC 20 Champaign during a segment on Illinois’ latest population losses. Illinois was one of just three states to shrink in the 2010-2020 period and has lost another 300,000 people since then. Ted says things need to change. “It’s too expensive to live here, there aren’t enough good jobs and nobody trusts the government anymore. There’s just other places to go where you can be more satisfied.”
