Chicago residents explode with anger over migrants, sanctuary policies: ‘They are not listening’ – FOX News

"The most outrageous thing about it is the local community. I've been contacted by two pastors in the Black community who are up in arms, saying the Black community has been left behind," said Former acting ICE Director Tom Homan. "The community is outraged and they should be," he said, adding that sanctuary policies make the community less safe.

Sanctuary state, sanctuary city are just examples of dumb politicians doing a 180 of Trump’s policy. Most of these citizens thought if Trump is for it I’m against it. Right now they’re mad about the money going to migrants, wait til the money runs out and crime really starts spiking from these migrants. Ask these people how they would compare the results of Biden’s energy, trade and foreign policies to Trumps and how it affects them, guarantee you’ll get a bunch of incoherent mumbling. They listen to the lies of the democrat party and now they’re mad they’re paying a… Read more »

The money isn’t going to migrants. They’re pocketing the money.

Chicago has been a sanctuary city since Harold Washington made it so in 1985, when then-Mayor Harold Washington issued an order prohibiting local officials from withholding city services, investigating or prosecuting people solely based on their immigration status. (lifted from Axios).

They won’t ever vote Republican. They’ll just vote for different candidates in the primary, which is the real election is Chicago. With only 10% to 15% turnout in the primary, this will be difficult, but not impossible, to overcome.

Even CNN is admitting they’re screwed. LOLOL

According to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, former President Donald Trump narrowly leads President Joe Biden, 49% to 45% among registered voters, and among voters of color, men split about evenly, 49% Trump to 46% Biden. CNN’s Van Jones reacts.

We’ve seen this play before and it always ends badly for Republicans. Polls show tight races and then the give me free stuff crowd votes Democrat no matter how many times they’ve been screwed over by Dems. The fact that those votes come in large middle of the night vote dumps bothers nobody.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
