A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
How about re-imaging things and making them pop up grocery stores.
They sound like college students sitting around singing Kumbaya in the dorm. We could totally start a city-owned market and make sure everyone has enough good food! Hey, pass the bong.

This is golden opportunity for a grocer of color to make bank in Englewood.
They changed one word, from store to market. And they still aren’t sure what they mean by market.
I think shoplifting market sounds better than shoplifting store.
They can talk all they want about food deserts and publicly owned grocery stores in the ghettos of Chicago. Until you enforce the law, and hold people accountable, none of this will work. There are plenty of videos from big blue cities across the country that document what happens when crime is tolerated.
