In terms of cps understaffing, per articale there are aprox 25,000 ctu members at cps providing teaching and sevices to 296,752 students (per st, with another 57,000 students are charter students), that works out to staffing ratio of 1 ctu staff for evey 11.87 students and thats understaffed?. Further, according to a certain education writer, of the 25,000 ctu staff 13,000 are class room teachers, or 1 ctu teacher for every 22.83 students which doesnt seem understaffed ratio to me? And with another 12,000 ctu staff are doing who know what. Not to mention the 7,000 seiu staff , 5000… Read more »

Today is the 20th day of enrollment. It would behoove Lightfoot to compile these numbers quickly as they probably work in her favor.

When is the reporting date? Maybe that’s ctu plan, to strike before the new student enrollment # comes out showing once again a drop in students?
