Chicago shootings up from October last year; murders down, CPD says – ABC7 (Chicago)

Year-to-date, 3,766 people have been shot in Chicago. That's 323 more shooting victims than last year at this time.

HEYJACKASS.COM has the real numbers. As of today 3927 shot and 718 homicides. The city fudges the numbers. Shootings and homicides on the expressways dont count according to the city because they are under the jurisdiction of the Illinois State Police.

Bad numbers receive a quick haircut, good numbers receive a parade and band. They also keep the fatalities down by resurrecting them for all elections. Can cast votes be cross checked against death certificates? That could raise a few eyebrows!

Clearly we need to implement target practice to improve the efficacy of these shooters. Toni and Beetlejuice will designate some Covid money to get the much needed programs in place, with an assist from Lil Kim.
