A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow knowing that the Mayor and the Governor will give into to the union. The burden will fall squarely on the shoulders of hardworking taxpayers, who will ultimately foot the bill for this betrayal of trust; held hostage by a system that thwarts their every attempt to enact change. It’s a dire situation, one that demands action and accountability but that will never happen in Illinois. I think it will soon get to the point the only way to solve the issues will be state declaring bankruptcy.
Prediction: The CTU will strike. And, the sob stories local news outlets will broadcast about the pain the strike imposes on the students will force a generous settlement but less than they asked.
Reality: Striking is the only method this outfit has of relieving the boredom of working in schools that are 60% to 80% empty of students.
