A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
I doubt the tourists were visiting the West Side or Englewood. Heck, tourists were robbed and assaulted right at The Bean.
Is it tourism if hotels fill up for 2 nights of Taylor Swift concerts ? I think they need to dig a little deeper on this tourism explosion

But have more people visited, or is the increase in revenue due to the outrageous price for everything from parking to meals, etc? Most people I know are loathe to spend money in CHI/ Cook County as they did pre- Lightfoot.
I visited Chicago to see my beloved Cubs play at Wrigley.
Otherwise I would never come back to Taxistan.
Always nice to catch a game at either of Chicago’s baseball stadiums. Worst day at the ballpark is better than the best day at work. Yessir.
Ironically, most of the suburbs have completely given up on Chicago.
