Lead in drinking water has been a known health risk since the late 19th century. Lead service lines have been supplying water to homes on the southeast side of Chicago for over 100 years. Nobody in officialdom made a stink about lead service lines in that neighborhood when it was overwhelmingly white working class. NOW that the neighborhood is majority minority, progressives, through their media mouthpieces, to include the the Sun-Times, say that the city has been derelict in its duty to remediate the service lines. Not surprised. There is alot of sheet going on in this city we aren’t aware of
