I really get the feeling that Lori is enjoying being The Boss. People who enjoy the exercising of political and police power over others always make me wary.

A position of power should be treated as a responsibility, and one that is used with respect and like a scalpel.

Not like a blunt stick that you swing around at every chance you have. Then everyone just thinks you’re a joke.

Leadfoot total NWO Gremlin. Less than human. Actually promoting the destruction of the city, and will strong-arm her “health” and other cronies to produce the “data” to prop her tyranny.

“For instance, office settings will be limited to 25 percent capacity, and while restaurants can reopen with outdoor seating, they will still need to purchase permits to do so.”

Salt in the wound! Not only do they arbitrarily shut you down, but then you have to pay them to reopen.

25% capacity? How do you keep offices at 25% capacity? And only one person in enclosed spaces at a time? one person in the bathroom and elevator at a time? For an entire floor? Will all elevators have to be reprogrammed for this? Will it take 30 minutes every morning just to get to your office suite? It makes no sense.

I would imagine JB and Lori expect them to designate a person to police all of that. After all, that’s what they expect restaurants to do. Hence, why our local Hardee’s will continue with drive-thru only.

Painfully obvious that those making the rules have zero business sense, but we knew that already…

OOOOOOOH the threats, if we don’t comply, she’ll shut us down again, and force ALL of us into bankruptcy! I’m scared Lori!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
