It’s absolutely insane that the city can sell a 2016 Sentra for $200.00 as a penalty for not paying three outstanding tickets. What’s even more insane is that the owner, knowing the punitive penalties, didn’t pay his (allegedly) three tickets, or avoid getting the tickets in the first place. Chicago truly is a place full of idiots.

My wife was in Chicago about 7 weeks ago and had parking stickers for 5 days. One sticker per day. They were properly displayed on top of dashboard and on the last day still got a ticket in the mail for not having the sticker displayed in the exact same place or some other garbage. Received a $75 citation in the mail and we sent proof and photos to the court but received a reply we still had to pay. What a racket? Like Obi Wan Kenobi said “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy”… Read more »
