City Council Meeting Abruptly Ends In Chaos With No Vote On Renaming Lake Shore Drive – Block Club Chicago

“Ever since we’ve been in a global pandemic, and she got this ultimate power, she doesn’t feel like she has to work with us, and that’s not how this is going to work,” Ald. Jeannette Taylor said. “You saw me tell her to put her hands down. I’m a grown woman like she is. We are coworkers and clearly she doesn’t understand that and I’ll make her understand that.”

Chicago was founded as a city in 1830. DuSable operated a trading post from 1790(?), until he sold his post in 1800 and left the area, never to return. Pioneering man, didn’t found the city of Chicago.

Chaos begets chaos. Chaos on the streets of downtown and north-side; chaos in City Hall. Nothing surprises me anymore.

While Rome burns, Nero fiddles. While Chicago descends into chaos, BLM virtue-signaling aldermen push for their piddling SJW agenda, such as pressing need to honor DuSable, a footnote in Chicago’s historic lore. DuSable’s sudden ascendency from obscurity to Chicago hero-status is pure stagecraft. Posturing SJW/BLM-enabled politicians are unable to perform their duties: to provide legitimate competent governance and to actually respond to best interests of their constituency.

The black caucus is self destructing. If they do not get their ways immediately, they react like spoiled kids. No more name changes.
