A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
The same politicization is happening with license plate readers. And we saw an idiot(s) in Springfield pushing a law to prohibit traffic stops of those speeding up to 25 mph over the limit is now watered down to permitting 3 unpaid traffic tickets before further penalty. Apparently even speeding is an “equity” issue. “Accountability”, what a quaint notion.
