DePaul University officials say workers have been fixing an estimated $180,000 worth of damage to the Quad and surrounding areas. Protesters also set up encampments at the University of Illinois, Illinois State, Northwestern, the University of Chicago and other schools.
I fully support the right to protest but when the protesters do $180,000 in damage to private and public property they need to be accountable. Why were the ones who abused the right not made to pay.
