Column: Catch-and-release angered San Francisco voters — what about Illinois? – Champaign News-Gazette

Jim Dey: "Not only did Left Coast voters remove a pro-criminal prosecutor from office in a recall election, they sent a message increasingly embraced by citizens across the country, including Illinois. The California recall rightfully happened because Asians organized to make it happen after members of their community were being viciously attacked with no action taken. The States Attorney in that case was a white male. Who is going to organize to oust Kim Foxx? Any group that does will be accused of racism.
