Dastardly. They moved solid red precincts to Welch’s district (where they were wasted) and replaced them with blue ones.

And the Democrat partisan DuPage County Clerk took her marching orders to illegally count likely illegal and fraudulent mail in ballots until the Democrat won by a few hundred votes knowing that a gerrymandered Democrat Appellate Court would back her up! Dastardly!

Mazzochi is unusually smart for an Illinois lawmaker and has the best communication skills of the bunch. It’s no wonder Dems had it out for her. And big salute to Jim Dey for covering this. He is about the only columnist in the regular media in Illinois who is worth a shit, and he is worth a lot.

What is the plan, IL GOP?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
