Jim Dey: "The real issue, of course, is not whether the state’s population is going up or down by tiny percentages. The problem is that Illinois, unlike all its neighboring states, is not growing. That means the state’s increasingly heavy tax burden is falling on a relatively static population, a real problem lost in the political back and forth as to whether the estimates are off by a small amount."

He doesn’t care what happens cause he’s loaded with dough…….the rest of us………so what is his attitude……just pay my taxes!!

Population surveys show that middle class people are fleeing in droves and are being replaced by poorer people and some higher income people. Look at the once working class suburbs that now, in many ways, are third-world hellholes, where the children in school can’t read or write, the strip malls are half-empty, the new residents don’t eat cheese so the pizza joints go out of business, the apartment complexes and single family home neighborhoods are run-down, there are vape shops and weed stores and slot machines on every corner, and fewer and fewer people natively speak English anymore.
