LOL Lori Lightfoot’s playbook was to shut everything down, for longer than everyone else, and then act surprised when those with means ultimately leave the city forever. She threatened and cajoled anyone who didn’t wear a useless mask or get a clot shot, and then was completely blindsided by multiple days of rioting and looting and mayhem, on two separate occasions. Don’t forget, Chicago’s deadliest day, where 18 people were killed and nearly 85 others were shot, happened on May 31, 2020, under Lori’s watch.
