“Equal treatment under the law” should be presented in court as challenge to these new prioritized benefits granted only to “recently-arrived migrants”. How is it constitutional for city government to grant $15,000 housing vouchers to “migrants”, but not to its legitimate US citizens who are established residents of Chicago? How is it constitutional to seize Park District facilities, programed for recreational and educational uses, to house “migrants” instead?
