Commentary: Chicago mayor is putting big bucks into new reparations commission to help fight crime – BizPac Review

"Though the mayor can boast that murder is down 13% in Chicago, according to the Daily Mail, crime in general — especially car theft and robbery — is up 17% in the Windy City. (Mayor Brandon) Johnson says reparations will help, and, in addition to $100 million for the prevention of violence, he has included in his 2024 budget $500,000 to establish a Commission on Restoration and Reparations."

Think back to high school. Think of the stoner dude next to you in history class so screwed around, got a C+; and then bragged about 18 ACT/940 SAT score, telling everyone he was stoned out of his mind during the exam. He always kind of struggled with things, he had to read the instructions on the pizza box twice, and still burnt it to a crisp. Blackmail and extortion at its finest brought to Illinoisan’s as a divide and conquer vote buying program by the Democrats. The interesting new point though is the Democrats are focusing on helping the immigrants who will soon deserve their reparations too just as soon as they register to vote.

Yes, that’s one of the ‘root causes’ theories of crime. They also have the naive believe that government can fix the ‘root causes’ of crime.
