Commentary: Migrants bussed from Texas see their future in Chicago – Financial Times

"Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago has decades of experience resettling refugees in this city where one in five residents is an immigrant. But this is like nothing they’ve done before, says Sally Blount, president and chief executive. 'We are just finishing with the Afghans and still working with the Ukrainians, but the volume of the Venezuelans and the fact that they are in limbo [immigration] status is a new experience.' It takes a year and costs $50,000 to resettle a family, she says."

Legal immigrants and illegal aliens are two different things. The Arch fails to understand that in their quest for social justice, they abandon prudent financial management along with resources that should be focused on the teachings of God – which we all need more of, not less. Keep providing for human traffickers and druggies, and they will keep coming.

It is they only people who will come to Chicago, No one else wants anything to do with Chicago. Most people are fleeing the area, be thankful someone is coming.

There are 7,500 to 8,000 border crossing per day now and soon to approach 10,000 with no end in sight. There is much more here than meets the eye. The reason why so many are let in by this administration is vague at best. Like Sherlock says. The game is afoot.

LOL coming to a neighborhood near you soon! It’ll be like living in a foreign country, all the culture, all the vibrancy, all the sounds and smells, and the socialism too! Sure, you’ll be an outcast as a native born, but you’re not wanted here anyways. The Democrat establishment sees this as more than politics. They are actively replacing you with future Democrat voters. They’d throw us all in camps if they could and that’s no exaggeration.

Leftists were literally calling for covid deniers and anti-fake vaccine refusers to be put into camps, not just crazies of Twitter but actual politicians. They purged people who would not take the shot and who are presumably conservative or libertarian from our universities, corporations, police force, fire departments, agencies, and all levels of government including the military. This is an ongoing classic political purge and there is not a word about written or spoken anywhere in MSM. I can only hope the new immigrants are like the FL Cubans or the former Eastern Bloc arrivals in the 90s that value… Read more »

They’re not like FL Cubans or former Eastern Bloc arrivals. They’re poor people who voted for socialism in their failed third world Central American country; and now that it’s failed and they have no food to eat or gas to drive their car, they’re coming here to take what you got.
