Committee exploring redrawing Indiana, Illinois borders officially forms – Jacksonville Journal-Courier

Indiana's House Bill 1008 went into effect July 1, creating the Indiana-Illinois Boundary Adjustment Commission. The committee would include six state legislators from Indiana and five from Illinois. A companion bill in Illinois' legislature that would authorize Illinois' participation in the commission has sat in the Rules Committee since Jan. 28.
