Community activist questions why Chicago’s homeless not welcome in city’s new migrant shelter – WBBM (Chicago)

“I’ve got nothing against the immigrants but I do have something against when you don’t take care of (your) home base here, and you don’t put these people here that’s laying on the streets, inside these shelters or schools when we’ve been asking for it.  So, now you can find the money to put the immigrants in there. What about the people still sleeping on the streets?” Andrew Holmes said.

Sorry Andy, we had a president that actually put Americans first but your base voted him out of office — sort of…

What you’ve got now (but can’t wrap your head around) is the modern version of the back of the bus….

The native black community comprising of united states citizens, unfortunately, has a lower standing in the intersectional hierarchy than illegal immigrants. It’s too bad that blacks are only BIPOC, while illegal immigrants are BIPOC and undocumented, so they are valued more in our system that prizes victimhood.

Thank you, Andrew Holmes. You are the voice of reason in a sea of stupidity. Please keep fighting the good fight – you are appreciated!

It is because any concern expressed by politicians about anyone less fortunate is nothing but empty posing for votes.
