Community organizations step in to ease housing crisis faced by migrants in Chicago – CBS2 (Chicago)

More than 5,000 asylum seekers have arrived in Chicago since Aug. 31 – either from Colorado or Texas. The city says last week, more than 330 came from Colorado – and more than 150 are now in shelters. Two are even setting up a temporary home in the basement of the 25th Ward office of Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez.

And the veterans who have served our country can freeze in the Forest Preserve and underpasses while these invaders are housed, fed, clothed and doted upon

Send them all back to the countries that spawned them – seal the border tight and start ferreting out the ones who are occupying our country and stealing resources from citizens. It’s your money and your and your children and grandchildren’s future – stand up for what’s right – and that’s a secure border and a sensible and sustainable immigration policy.

STOP cheapening our citizenship.
