Concerns raised about property tax increases, public safety in Pilsen – NBC5 (Chicago)

“It’s something that’s very concerning," said lifelong Pilsen resident Ambar Gonzalez. "A lot of families are losing their homes, older folks losing their homes. We can’t stand for that." Gonzalez said her family's property tax bill has increased more than 100% since 2020.

Perhaps Pilsen residents could try voting Republican for a generation and see if things improve.
