When asked Friday Pritzker did say the state was prepared to launch the system the week of May 11. But launching and payments are two different things.

Gig workers deserve nothing. They chose these jobs knowingly so that they can work and not pay federal income or self employment tax. Their employers do not pay federal or state unemployment taxes so they deserve nothing. Enough of this democratic socialism.
