Conservatives go to red states and liberals go to blue as the country grows more polarized – A.P.

Comment: This column does not use Illinois as an example though it clearly is one.

If you have an American flag in front of your house in Illinois you’re a MAGA extremist and a white supremacist.

That would be me. Neighbors house is for sale, hopefully the flag scares the liberals away. Funny thing is the neighbor is a cop, wants to leave the force, and leave the state.

This is not always the case. Too many Liberals from California have infiltrated Texas and Tennessee. Liberals from New York have gone to Florida. They go to lower tax states because they do not want to pay high taxes but bring their bad politics with them. This is what happened in Seattle, Portland and Denver. Colorado used to be a very RED state and has been infiltrated. Watch what is happening in North Carolina as well. Not to mention even in Red States the Education system is indoctrinating the children. But Illinois is one of the worst States for sure.

Denver has turned more Blue in the 15 years I’ve been here.

However, Colorado has a Taxpayers Bill of Rights (TABOR) since 1992. TABOR really limits the amount of money the legislature has to spend on supposed “investments”.

So even with a much Bluer state TABOR prevents Colorado from turning into an Illinois.

Some of the reasons I left Taxistan;

  • Better job opportunity
  • Lower cost of living including da taxes
  • Better weather(winters suuuck in Sheeetcago)
  • Sick and tired of Big Blue State of Illinois totally controlled by corrupt Dems and their masters the public sector unions

Conservatives need to have a better mobilization plan if they want to survive. Only consider red states for relocation, vote straight red once you get there and don’t look back. Control the US Senate by putting two conservative senators in office. The left, with the help of the 98% complicit liberal media, will continue to vilify Conservatives daily. How else do you think this country ended up with a US President who is clearly incapacitated?

Some of the “rightwing” sites I read say conservatives need to move to purple-states and help turn them red. I understand the logic but personally, I’m tired of being in the political minority and am more than ready to relocate to a solidly red state.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
