Convicted criminals with guns flood DuPage County as Oak Brook sees 1st murder since 2011 – ABC7 (Chicago)

DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said half of all felonies in DuPage County are being committed by people who don't live in the county. "It's a complete lack of respect for the law. These are people, who because they're convicted felons, cannot possess a gun. And yet, they do. And, they're driving around," Berlin said.

And they want to disarm law abiding citizens who have a Constitutional and God given right to keep and bear arms to protect ourselves from this criminal element that has been allowed to roam our streets and threaten our safety. Wish Mr. Berlin would have been one of the State’s Attorney’s to sue the State over the Safety Act, but sadly he did not. He has also been silent on the gun grab that our State and local officials are trying to implement.

The woke mothers of DuPage welcome these felons. They keep voting for the likes of Casten and Underwood. Taxes will rise across DuPage as villages are forced to hire additional police to deal with violent crime. Retailers will be forced to keep everything under lock and key. It won’t be pretty.

The Black Plague devastated Europe in the middle 1300’s killing millions. The Black Plague in America is spreading into areas that have never experienced crime especially violent crime. So even if living in an area that once upon a time you thought was safe beware of the Black Plague as you live in once safe suburbs. Thankfully, Kim Foxx is not the prosecutor in these counties that have a standard of justice far superior to Cook/County/Chicago and bad people go to prison for long periods of time.

Felons caught with illegal guns, switches and outsized clips will be released on recognizance, immediately! Sorry Oak Brook, don’t even bother putting the cuffs on, because they’re coming off immediately! And if you naively think some perp is going to show up for their court date in Wheaton? LOL Guess what, no warrant can be issued. Prosecutors have to file another court document that must be personally served on the perp, called a Rule to Show Cause, encouraging… Read more »

So basically you’re giving the criminal a warning when he gets served with the rule to show cause. At that point he can just flee the state.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
