Cook County Assessor to correct thousands of property tax assessment errors in south, west suburbs – ABC7 (Chicago)

In past reports, the Assessor's Office admitted some south suburban homeowners were over-assessed. Now we have found there were more than 4,000 of these errors.

Burke and Madigan, through their “private practice” made fortunes fixing these tax assessment errors. Maybe Fritz is unaware they are no longer practicing.

Thousands of errors? Well if that isn’t incompetence I don’t know what is. Can you imagine trying to sell your home when it has been egregiously over assessed? Thanks for nothing Fritz! Now fix it and fix it fast.
