Cook County carjackings on pace to be the worst in 2 decades: Camry is No. 1, most victims are men, Sunday’s the worst day – Chicago Sun-Times*

"More than half of the people arrested for carjacking in Chicago last year were juveniles. They often target victims downtown because they’re showing off. They broadcast their heists on social media, but they don’t know the exit routes very well, so their chances of getting caught are high, officials say."

US Attorney General AG Merrill Garland believes parents threatening school district personnel and board members justifies the use of Federal resources that could otherwise be used on the Chicago and Cook County carjacking pandemic.

Note the pictures in the Chicago charge releases for vehicular hijacking are disproportionately people of color.

That is disturbing.

This could be racist targeting by the task force and could justify the creation of a task force to investigate the vehicular hijacking task force for implicit bias, explicit bias and racism.

Lori, the cat’s out of the bag now. Everyone is understandably piling on Lori. Toni and Kim are laughing up their leave watching Lori lurch from one conflagration to the other. Porky got tired of making excuses and threw Lori under the buss. Her next photo op will be hosted by the president of the pissbums.

It doesn’t matter if they get caught. The carjackers know Lil Kim won’t be charging them. It’s a joke, but the joke is on them. These losers will never amount to anything. Doomed to a life of underachievement and boredom by the people that claim to have their best interests in mind. Sooner or later they’ll overdose or step in front of a bullet.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
