Just a heads up: All new judges in Cook County go to the traffic division to learn how to be a judge.

So, what you are saying is they come out dumber than they went in.

The thing of it is, Boss Madigan is on his way to Marion. Yet IL Democrats are completely undeterred in their total corruption. IL Democrats are a crime syndicate, where doing time is just part of ‘earning your strips’. Seems every elected official including the judges are part of it all. Ho hum, off to work they go.

They will drag their heels on shipping Madigan downstate and in the end they’ll play the “ too elderly/ in bad health “ card to spring him as they did with George Ryan. Reminds me of when all the goombahs in “ Casino “ facing jail time showed up with walkers, breathing tanks and masks etc. looking as if they were on deaths doorstep.

Hand picked for the bench by Mike Madigan. Lot’s of great constitutional law experience in Cook County Traffic Court. Who says she’s not eminently qualified?

Two years ago (and probably continuing until not too long ago), this affirmative action appointee was a judge in traffic court. She was probably incompetent on that bench as well.

During the late 50s I was a 5th grade CPS pupil at Parkside elementary school and a kid asked
our teacher about the purpose of the 2nd Amendment. Miss Horrigan told us that it was our protection against tyranny. Are we there yet? Remember the battle of Athens 1946 and the fate of the awful Vichy judges following the liberation of France!

When Trump is president, he will kick Illinois off the ballot.

By this I assume you mean that he will cut off considerable Illinois Federal funding that makes me hope even more he gets elected.

Yes, when you get into the details this ‘judge’ is a partisan hack – that’s how she got her job. I belly laughed when the article mentioned the IL Supreme Court – anyone have any doubts on that deranged group of partisans, some recently purchased by Pritzker? IL, what can you say about the place other than it is lost. What is truly amazing to me is how unashamed Democrats are about their corruption.

That’s what they do, a judge retires, and then the IL Supreme Court ‘appoints’ someone to fill the vacancy for the balance of the term. Then that person gets ‘slated’ for a full term and no other Democrat is allowed to run against them in that sub-circuit. It’s a DEI spoils system.

How did this whackjob judge end up with this case? Really? Of all the judges in the county division, according to this article, how did this case end with the most highly partisan hack on the bench? The justice system is becoming a kangaroo court and every one wants to play their part in the sham. This is how you become the third world.

Jonathan Bilyk’s the best writer/reporter going in Chicago area!! Why he’s writing for CCR, as excellent as it is, and not national news heavyweights is a mystery?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
