A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
For those not fluent in politically correct, ‘formerly incarcerated’ means ex-cons or ex-convicts.
PC also refers to ex-cons as ‘returning citizens,’ as if they’ve been living overseas instead of living off taxpayer resources.
Don’t misunderstand, ex-cons deserve a break when they finish their term(s). Programs to support them should be robust and give them a second chance. However, whitewashing their status is deceptive and disingenuous.
