Cook County official tried to ‘escape’ after alleged DUI crash in Andersonville, 911 caller said – Chicago Sun-Times

Samantha Steele, a member of the obscure but influential Cook County Board of Review, is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence following the Nov. 11 crash in the 5000 block of North Ashland Avenue. No one was injured in the collision, but two parked cars were damaged, and Steele’s Honda was left inoperable. Still, she allegedly tried to take off before police arrived at the scene.

Where are Pritzker, Harmon, the IL Attorney General, Preckwinkle, Johnson and other high profile democrats in calling for this persons resignation, and where’s the investigation of her Indiana issues? Do these “leaders” not want to protect the integrity and purity 😂 of their party and the residents they “serve”?

Hello, Indiana!

The full video shows that CPD bent over backwards to accommodate this self- important individual. They let her use her phone multiple times to contact her lawyer ( who didn’t sound too enthused about getting to the crash scene ), let her friend intervene, listened to her waffle about taking the DUI test and getting out of her car. Would that we commoners were afforded the same courtesy if we were drunk and smashed into several cars.
