Glossed over is that Reed fired about 11 to 12 rounds at officers striking one of them. This explains why he was shot by police officers. Based on past officer involved shootings, police only hit their target 20% to 25% of the time. It will be interesting to see how many times Reed was struck, because those officers are responsible for where their rounds go…like down the street into a house with a person in it. I find this mayor deeply disturbing with his disturbing ideas!!
No mention of his criminal record……no mention that Reed fired 11 times. Note to CPD, quit doing anything. Let the city burn.
