Already Chicago has one of the highest parking taxes in the nation. Depending on the day of the week, as much as 40 cents of every dollar spent goes for a county or city tax, according to officials. By way of comparison, New York City charges an 18.5 percent tax, while San Francisco takes 25 percent.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Hmm……could high parking fees, wheel taxes and high gas prices contribute to carjacking?
Well this is one way to cut down on traffic congestion in downtown Chicago.
