CPD increasing patrols downtown amid Chicago violence surge – ABC7 (Chicago)

"There is no comfort coming from leadership that would want me to come back downtown," said Scott Shapiro, owner of Syd Jerome Menswear. "In fact, I'm getting a little tired of being an ambassador for the city of Chicago."

Brown will increase the appearance of patrols by having the beat cars drive faster around the precinct. Code 3 light’m up and let’m scream. The frequency of seeing beat cars will increase dramatically indicating due diligence! Have a cop stand surrounded by beveled mirrors to give the appearance of six officers standing around.

Let’s face it, there aren’t enough police to do the job, and the ones we do have can’t do anything out of fear of getting prosecuted for trying. This can be laid at the feet of Jabba, BD Lori, Lil Kim and Judge Tim. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a summer of record chaos and destruction. What’s going to prevent it?
