A lifetime of watching politics in Chicago and we’re still getting reruns of “the creation of a police athletic and arts league to engage the city’s youth.” What a joke. Let the PD do professional police work and let artists and athletes do their thing. The arts and athletics are indeed wonderful and rewarding, but nothing has prevented the proper funding and promotion of these splendid endeavors more than our own political leadership has.
