CPS asks parents to keep kids home Wednesday after CTU votes against in-person classes, threatens strike – WGNTV (Chicago)

CTU spokesperson, Chris Geovanis, confirms the set-up to a potential teachers’ strike. “It’s on the Mayor. The only way a strike can be provoked is if the Mayor locks out our teachers.”

Come on. CTU is all fer de kids. Dey loves the kids. Dey donts do the teachings for the money. They does it fer de kids. All fer de kids.

The spineless person filling the mayors shoes is trying to give the impression that the mayor is being tough and negotiating. Don’t worry, though. With or without a strike the spineless one will cave into every demand the CTU makes. Every Chicago leader always has. Why should this one be different? It is a pity the kids are held hostage. I say let them strike till they starve.
