Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach A man to fish, and you feed him all his life. Teach a man To lobby and he won’t have to eat fish all the time.
Looks like even the capfax folks have had enough of CTU. https://capitolfax.com/2024/05/10/ctu-coming-to-town-a-large-presence-of-red-shirts-at-the-capitol-will-tell-the-governor-and-our-springfield-lawmakers-that-they-must-support-our-students-and-fully-fund-our-schools/
And in 2 seconds flat every teachers union in state, and for that matter every public sector union in the state, is going to demand equal paid days off to lobby for themselves on the taxpayers dime…..WOW, unbelievable!!
If CPS is giving ONLY 600 teachers & staff a paid day-off aren’t they going to have to offer a paid day-off to all CPS teachers & staff to supposedly lobby? Will paid lobbying day-off be included in CTU’s new contract?
