Length of eye lashes and fingernails is next. With the length of some fingernails when she tries to type an M she gets and 8 or 9 or even F7. That’s how the budget is balanced-Long Fingernails.

I’d laugh if it weren’t likely to be accurate.

One time when called for jury duty the woman handing out stipend checks had nails that extended no less than 3″ off the tips of her fingers. Seeing her pick up checks was worth the time spent waiting to be called into court.

Her dismissive attitude was also notable – either she hated her job and those of use who were collecting a pittance for being there and transportation or she was having a simply horrible day; I wasn’t going to ask.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
