CTA Closes Bus Stops Near Obama Center Site, But They’re Still Being Used Despite Unsafe Conditions – Block Club Chicago

“Recent nearby project work has created some instances of unsafe boarding [and] alighting conditions for [Chicago Transit Authority] customers, resulting in unplanned, temporary bus stop changes,” spokespeople for the transit authority said in a statement. "...(C)ertain circumstances are beyond CTA’s control,” the spokespeople said.

Instead people should use the forgotten underground freight system. It is below the Pedway system. The only downsides are flooding/Morlocks and possibly Jimmy Hoffa wandering around.
