CTU allies push to end school choice program for low-income Illinois students – Illinois Policy

A government union-backed group is pushing parents to ask state lawmakers to kill tax credit scholarships serving the state’s most vulnerable students. The Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship program to expire in 2024, ending scholarships that have helped at least 37,000 students in Illinois.

It’s obvious that no institution is more on need of competition than CPS. The stranglehold the CTU has on poor Chicagoans is my definition of “systemic racism.”

That JB and his kids never experienced public education is par for the leftist course. Neither did the Obama girls.
