According to the website Chalkbeat, 11% of the students in Chicago public schools are white, 4.5% are Asian. CTU wants us to believe that “black and brown students” are suffering because the funding is going to the tiny number of white and Asian kids?

Maybe if CPS and CTU actually start teaching students how to read and do math at grade level it would help. Stop asking for more money, housing allowances and green demands. The could start teaching like the charter schools and be behind closing underutilized schools to provide more resources for students, instead of protecting there own jobs.
