Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Race-neutral traffic cameras used by Chicago, designed by a diverse group of people, and planned by a black administration …. are still racist:
Chicago’s “Race-Neutral” Traffic Cameras Ticket Black and Latino Drivers the Most

Maybe black drivers get stopped more often because they commit more traffic violations, don’t have current vehicle registrations, don’t wear seatbelts etc. Every article about traffic stops must contain information that black motorists are victims. What a joke.
WHY CANT THE STATE PUT SPEED CAMERAS UP HERE AN THERE ESPECIALLY THE RYAN MAY BE GIVE A 10 MILE OVER LIMIT SOME TIMES YOU HAVE TO GO A LITTLE FASTER
It sure doesn’t seem to be controlling super-speeders on the expressways — those guys who fly by at 90 or 100 zig zagging in and out, sometimes two of them racing. It’s scary and common. Not just in Chicago. All the way up I-94 and down the Dan Ryan. The Dan Ryan at night is terrifying.
The traffic cops learned at least 20+ years ago that swimming upstream is both tiring and trying. Sooner or later the strong tide wins.
Not to mention treating the shoulder as if its a lane of their own
The bend on I-90 between roughly Elmhurst Road and Arlington Heights Road is super dangerous too, the super speeders use that bend to speed over 100mph. It’s really dangerous
