It was over 5 years from the Declaration of Independence to Yorktown. It required quite a few colonists, Brits, Germans and Frenchmen to get shot. And the Mayor ain’t no George Washington. But let’s hear her plans.

Lightfoot has lost this city forever! And you can throw Foxx and all the other dems on the bus! Citizens of Chicago you allowed this to happen!

What specifically does a health emergency entail? Besides windbaggery? Maybe some tsk tsk or we can do better? Axelrod and Arne? Is Martha’s Vineyard turning on Lori? Have Lori debate the two simultaneously……Oh Boy!

Axlerod is a part of the problem not a part of a solution.

Did Axelrod already join Arne Duncan’s mayoral campaign team? Sure looks like it.

Has this incident been verified or is it a bit of political theater to undermine Lightfoot and promote Duncan?

I know you love the spotlight Dick but every time you speak the only thing that comes out of your mouth is bs. You’re currently winning the stupidity race against Duckworth, that is… Read more »

I’ll bet Durbin had to change his shorts when he got home. The irony of the lifetime senator from the defund the police party encountering random gun violence is too much. I’ll smile the rest of the day after reading that. As for Axelrod, as a member of the liberal elite, his opinions are worthless. He reaps what he sows and doesn’t like the taste.

Durbin finally got a taste of Democrat uptopia he’s spent his entire career cultivating. And he found he didn’t like it.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
