DCFS reports show 107 kids on average die per year despite connections to department – WICS (Springfield)

We saw the highest number of suicides last fiscal year than we've seen in at least a decade: 8. The average was two to four in the years before this.

Hmmm….is being connected to DCFS listed as cause of death? I’d believe it!

I had a renter that was into heavy alcohol use and other substances. I called DFCS and they told me they didn’t have the resources to investigate. I gather from that funding is provided to the bureaucracy that it is for salaries and pensions but nothing left over to do the job they are supposed to do.

At least 40,000 in Illinois die every year who will never know what it is to be a kid let alone a teenager then an adult,to get married to have children and hopefully grandchildren and have a full life. Every year!
