Decade of decline in population has Illinois legislators looking for change – Center Square

State Rep. La Shawn Ford said Democratic leaders need to recognize the problem and start getting competitive. “I think the governor should be looking at our border states and he should be treating this like a business and be very competitive when it relates to policies compared to our border states,” he said.

Does La Shawn not realize that all they need to do to attract legal residents is reverse every policy and law that has been enacted by Pritzker and Company since Jabba took office? Can he really be that stupid? You know, like doubling the gas tax and fees, letting prisoners and thugs roam free and locking an entire state down and killing small businesses. Another clown in the circus.

The irony is that most Democrat legislators believe it’s a good thing that deplorables are leaving the state. They believe IL is a better place without you here. And thank goodness we live in a large country with open borders between states. If we were a small, landlocked country, with closed borders, they’d do things far, far worse to us, as many vindictive tyrants have done to minority populations throughout history.
