Deliberations continue at ex-Illinois House speaker’s corruption trial – Center Square

Former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan’s corruption trial is approaching the four month mark. Jurors began deliberating on Wednesday, Jan. 29, and have deliberated each weekday since that afternoon.

The wisdom is that the longer a jury takes to reach a verdict, the defendant will be found innocent. Watch Madigan walk scot free, get a slap on the wrist or a hung jury being the outcome.
