Dem Gov. Pritzker: FL’s DeSantis is Trump in a mask and GOP likes white extremism – Florida Phoenix

Illinois’ Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker delivered a blistering speech in Tampa Saturday equating Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis with former president Donald Trump and condemning him for doing more to “protect” Floridians from LGBTQ children and immigrants than from white nationalism and gun violence. As keynote speaker at the Florida Democratic Party’s annual leadership conference, Pritzker urged Democrats to call out white nationalism and gun violence as domestic terrorism and to campaign against Republican candidates — including DeSantis — who do not. The text of Pritzker's speech is linked here.

Maybe Pritzker should relocate to his Florida compound and run for governor there. DeSantis will be in the White House in 2024 so he won’t have to worry about beating him.

What exactly is white nationalism? Is that if you happen to be white and patriotic?

Are there any examples of it?
If it is so prevalent and such a problem, shouldn’t there be a list of examples?
Can Pritzker point to anything he’s done in Illinois to restrict whites from acting in a nationalistic way?

Fat slob needs to worry more about the fact his leadership is driving retirees and businesses (plural) out of IL and less about the states they are going to. Which are Florida, Texas, Nevada, and Tennessee.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
