Democrat-led Texas city steps up migrant busing to New York, Chicago, outpacing Republican effort – Reuters

Migrants continue to cross the border to El Paso El Paso, which sits across the border from Juarez, Mexico, has bused roughly 7,000 migrants to New York City since late August and sent more than 1,800 to Chicago. The city's busing effort has received less attention than a separate statewide campaign by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has bused more than 3,000 migrants to New York City and more than 900 to Chicago as part of a high profile campaign to put a spotlight on the record crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Well it looks like those nearly empty CPS schools will be filling back up. It’s for the children…..just not American children.

While at the same time there are veterans who are homeless but these transplants get the royal treatments. I think I heard last night the mayor of New York say these bussed migrants (illegals) may cost the city $1B and he needs some federal help. $1B? Do they all get front row seats at all the Broadway shows and private tutors for their kids? Maybe throw in a Tesla or two.

Lightfoot’s BIG LIE On Illegal Aliens Being Bused To Chicago — MOST OF THE ILLEGAL ALIENS BEING BUSED TO CHICAGO ARE BEING BUSED BY THE DEMOCRAT MAYOR OF EL PASO, TEXAS — WITH THE COOPERATION OF PRESIDENT BIDEN — NOT BY TEXAS’ REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR ABBOTT

They are getting bussed all over as soon as they get here. I was driving I294 and school buses were flying (85+ mph) down the expressway, left hand lane, packed with adults. Nantucket said they were expecting people from Chicago (via the NY Post.) Nothing to see here.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
